PM Stresses Importance of Parliamentary Kashmir Committee in Addressing Regional Issues

Muzaffarabad: The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Choudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, asserted that no power could separate Pakistan and Kashmir. He made these remarks during a speech at an event, where he expressed gratitude to the Parliamentary Kashmir Committee for its ongoing efforts.

In his address, Choudhry Anwar-ul-Haq highlighted that the committee had gathered important recommendations during its recent meeting. Discussions were held regarding development projects in Azad Kashmir, and the current situation in the region was thoroughly examined.

The Prime Minister also condemned the ongoing human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir, stating that such injustices continue unabated. He emphasized that the relationship between Pakistan and Kashmir remains unbreakable despite the challenges faced by the region.

Choudhry Anwar-ul-Haq further praised the federal government for providing subsidized electricity to the people of Azad Kashmir. He noted that while some of the ordinances could be challenged in courts, his political philosophy strongly revolves around the power of dialogue and negotiations.

Additionally, he mentioned that the current Pakistani government had facilitated the provision of electricity to Azad Kashmir at a cost of just 3 rupees per unit. The meeting also focused on various federal projects in Kashmir, as well as plans to improve operations at local airports.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the Parliamentary Kashmir Committee’s efforts in discussing the issues facing the region.
