Nadeem Nani Wala Hits Back at Sehar Khan Over Rajab Butt Controversy

Nadeem Responds to Sehar Khan After Rajab Butt Backlash

ISLAMABAD: (Showbiz Desk) – Pakistani TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala has responded to actress Sehar Khan after she publicly criticised YouTuber Rajab Butt over controversial remarks made during a recent livestream with Zaid Ali.

The controversy began after Sehar expressed her disappointment on Instagram, saying public figures with large audiences should understand the responsibility that comes with their influence. She described Rajab’s remarks as inappropriate and questioned the kind of humour being promoted to thousands of followers.

Following Sehar’s statement, Nadeem shared a detailed Instagram Story in which he questioned why the actress had spoken out against Rajab but, according to him, had remained silent over several other cases that had also attracted public attention.

He referred to cases involving Aizal, six-year-old Muhammad Wali and Mir Raza Ali, asking why Sehar had not raised her voice with the same intensity over those incidents.

Nadeem acknowledged that Rajab’s comment was wrong but noted that the YouTuber had later apologised. He criticised what he described as people joining the controversy for attention and argued that those who speak against injustice should maintain the same position in different cases.

He also urged Sehar to question the government over the Form 47 controversy and speak about what he described as injustices in Karachi.

Nadeem later took a more conciliatory position after revealing that Sehar had personally contacted him to explain her stance. He said the actress told him she had deleted her earlier Instagram Story after watching Rajab’s apology.

The TikToker said he respected Sehar for contacting him directly and clarified that he had no personal issue with her.

Nadeem said his position was that people should be held accountable when they make mistakes, but their apologies should also be acknowledged when they accept responsibility.

He subsequently said the matter was over from his side, calling for positivity instead of unnecessary social media disputes.

The exchange has since broadened the discussion surrounding accountability among social media personalities, particularly over how public figures respond to sensitive issues and whether an apology should bring an online controversy to an end.
