US Delegation to Arrive in Islamabad for Talks: Trump

Trump Sends Delegation to Islamabad Warns Iran Over Hormuz Crisis

WASHINGTON: (Web Desk) – US President Donald Trump has announced that American representatives will arrive in Islamabad to begin negotiations, saying the delegation is expected to reach the capital by tomorrow evening.

In a statement shared on his platform Truth Social, Trump accused Iran of violating a ceasefire by opening fire in the Strait of Hormuz. He also claimed that Tehran’s move to close the vital waterway was unusual, asserting it was already effectively blocked due to US actions.

Trump said Washington has presented what he described as a “strong deal” to Iran and expressed hope that Tehran would accept it. However, he warned that failure to reach an agreement could result in severe consequences, including targeting key infrastructure.

The US president further claimed that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is causing significant financial losses for Iran, while the United States remains largely unaffected. He added that Washington would not show further flexibility if talks fail.

Reiterating his hardline stance, Trump stated that the time has come for decisive action, warning that if Iran rejects the proposal, the US is prepared to take extensive measures to counter what he termed Iran’s military capabilities.
