Mushaal Mullick Raises Concerns Over Attempt to Change Demographics in Occupied Kashmir

Mushaal Malik emphasized the need to formulate a long-term policy on Kashmir.

Islamabad (Staff Reporter): On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Mushaal Malik has expressed concerns over attempts to change the demographic composition of Kashmir by seeking a Hindu majority in the upcoming elections in September.

Addressing his statement on the day of Kashmir Solidarity, Mushaal Malik highlighted that over 5 million Indians have been issued domicile certificates in the occupied territory of Kashmir, and historic Muslim sites in India are being altered.

He mentioned the formation of a special Kashmir committee to address the Kashmir issue and provide strategic policy recommendations to ensure the continued struggle for Kashmir’s freedom.

Mushaal Malik emphasized the need to formulate a long-term policy on Kashmir, stating that the political leadership of occupied Kashmir has been imprisoned, underscoring the necessity of a sustained effort towards a resolution for Kashmir.
