Meteorological Department Predicts More Rainfall In Lahore And Nearby Areas

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Meteorological Department has forecast additional rainfall in Lahore and nearby areas, bringing pleasant weather conditions to the region.

According to the weather office, temperatures in Lahore have dropped noticeably, with the city recording around 28 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Winds were blowing at nearly 9 kilometres per hour, making the atmosphere cooler and more comfortable.

Meanwhile, Islamabad is expected to experience hot and dry weather throughout the day. The federal capital recorded a morning temperature of 24 degrees Celsius, while the mercury is likely to rise up to 33 degrees during daytime hours.

Weather officials said winds in Islamabad may blow at a speed of around 10 kilometres per hour.

In the southern parts of the country, dry and hot weather conditions are expected to persist.

Karachi, however, continues to experience hot and humid weather. The city’s current temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature remained at 28.6 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to range between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius during the day.

According to the Meteorological Department, southwestern winds are blowing at around 4 kilometres per hour in the port city, while humidity levels have reached 75 percent.

Officials added that Karachi’s air quality remains satisfactory, with the level of fine dust particles recorded below 100 per centimetre.
