ISLAMABAD: Mohsin Naqvi has officially taken charge as the new President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). His appointment marks the beginning of a new era for Asian cricket.
In an official statement issued by the Asian Cricket Council, Mohsin Naqvi expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm, stating, “It is a great honor to serve as the President of the Asian Cricket Council. Asia is the heart of cricket, and I will work with all member boards to push the game forward. Together, we will create new opportunities and take Asian cricket to new heights. I extend my thanks to my predecessor.”
Naqvi succeeds Shami Silva, the former President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), who expressed confidence in Naqvi’s leadership, stating that under his guidance, the ACC will continue to thrive and achieve even greater success.
