Naqvi Assures Government's Active Efforts on Palestinian Issue

Lahore: Federal Minister for Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, visited the Jamaat-e-Islami headquarters in Mansoora, Lahore, for a meeting with Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman. The discussion focused on the current law and order situation in Pakistan, with an emphasis on the security conditions in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in the Kurram tribal district.

Naqvi reiterated that maintaining law and order is the government’s top priority and updated the Ameer on agreements with Independent Power Producers (IPPs). Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman presented proposals concerning K-Electric (KE), while also urging the government to take stronger action on the Palestinian issue. Naqvi assured that the government is actively addressing the matter, with Pakistan’s Prime Minister raising the issue at international forums.

The meeting was attended by Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Ameer-ul-Azeem and Deputy Ameer Dr. Osama Razi.
