Mohsin Naqvi Iran Visit June: Field Marshal’s Message
Mohsin Naqvi Iran Visit June Carries Special Message for Tehran
Pakistan vs Iran – (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is heading to Iran in June as part of Islamabad’s ongoing peace efforts in the Middle East. He is carrying a special message from Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has personally briefed Naqvi before his departure. The PM gave him special instructions on how to handle the sensitive peace talks with Iranian leadership.
Naqvi recently returned from Kyrgyzstan where he attended the SCO Interior Ministers’ meeting in Bishkek. During his stay, he held back-to-back meetings with Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni to discuss the growing tensions in the Middle East.
Pakistan has been playing a key role in bridging the gap between Iran and the United States. Pakistani officials have been quietly relaying messages and peace proposals between both sides since the conflict began in late February.

Islamabad helped bring about a fragile ceasefire on April 8. However, peace talks later stalled over Iran’s uranium enrichment programme and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
Asim Munir and Mohsin Naqvi also visited Tehran in May for high-level meetings. Those talks were aimed at pushing both sides toward a lasting diplomatic solution.
Tensions have since risen again with Iranian and US forces carrying out fresh strikes against each other. Pakistan is now stepping up its diplomatic engagement to prevent the situation from spiralling further.
