Mohammad Nawaz Ruled Out of Champions Cup

MULTAN: (Sports Reporter) – Pakistan left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz has been ruled out of the Al Batal Presents University of Lahore National Champions Cup after sustaining an injury to his right middle finger.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Nawaz underwent scans on Thursday, August 13, which confirmed the injury. He is expected to remain sidelined for at least three weeks.

Nawaz suffered the injury while fielding for Sparco Paints Pakistan Gold during their match against Al Batal Productions Pakistan Blues on August 12.

Despite hurting his finger, the spinner completed his full quota of 10 overs in the match. Pakistan Gold, however, went on to suffer a six-wicket defeat at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
