Mirzapur 3′ Drops Bonus Episode with Deleted Scenes
Mirzapur 3' Bonus Episode Offers Deleted Scenes and Munna Bhaiya’s Humorous Insights
The creators of the hit gangster drama ‘Mirzapur 3’released a bonus episode on August 30, two months after the season’s debut on Prime Video.
Promoted as a special return of Munna Bhaiya, played by Divyendu Sharma, the episode actually features a compilation of deleted scenes from the third season.
The bonus episode begins with Munna Tripathi addressing fan enthusiasm for his return. “My departure stirred a lot of emotions. I’ve heard that our loyal fans missed me greatly, and honestly, I missed you too. Loyalty means everything to me, and your steadfast support deserves something special,” he says. He then reveals that the episode includes a selection of scenes that were cut from ‘Mirzapur 3’.
In ‘Mirzapur 2’, Munna Tripathi, played by Divyendu Sharma, meets his end at the hands of Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) during a dramatic climax. The final shootout sees Guddu and Golu (Shweta Tripathi) attacking Kaleen Bhaiyaa (Pankaj Tripathi) and Munna Bhaiya, leading to Munna’s death. Despite Munna’s demise, Kaleen Bhaiya survives with help from his rival Sharad Shukla, who emerges as a major antagonist in Season 2.

The newly released bonus episode features deleted scenes including moments with Guddu at home and Robin and Dimpy working to release their father, Ramakant Pandit, from jail. Throughout the episode, Divyendu Sharma, portraying Munna, provides commentary on notable events from ‘Mirzapur 3’, humorously speculating about potential future roles as a motivational speaker or even a “dashing CM.”
Despite the buildup, the bonus episode lacks the excitement and suspense of the main episodes. The 25-minute segment ends with Munna Bhaiya assuring fans of his return, saying, “My time is up. Don’t worry. I’ll keep coming back. Just one condition — keep sending your love for Mirzapur.”
In related news, Anand Iyer, co-director of ‘Mirzapur 3’, has announced that Season 4 will be arriving sooner than anticipated. Although specific details are still under wraps, Iyer hinted that the new season will explore power dynamics and relationships more deeply, aiming to keep viewers engaged.
