MCI Launches Online Birth and Death Registration Service
Islamabad Residents Get Online Registration Through Pak App
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI), in partnership with the National Information Technology Board (NITB), has launched an online Birth and Death Registration service through the Pak App. The initiative allows residents to complete registration-related procedures digitally, eliminating the need for visits to MCI offices.
Citizens can now submit applications for birth and death certificates online, make secure electronic payments, and receive digital certificates directly through the platform. The service aims to simplify access to essential civic facilities and enhance convenience for the public.
Chief Officer MCI, Dr. Anam Fatima, stated that the initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to digital governance and improved public service delivery. She emphasized that the online system offers a transparent, efficient, and user-friendly process that can be accessed anytime and from anywhere.
MCI has encouraged residents to take advantage of the Pak App for birth and death registration services, highlighting the ease and accessibility of digital solutions. The initiative also demonstrates the government’s broader efforts to modernize public services through technology-driven innovation and digital transformation.
