Mariam Riaz Watoo accuses Ali Amin Gandapur of detaining Bushra Bibi
Mariam confirmed that the family would pursue legal action regarding Bushra Bibi’s disappearance.
ISLAMABAD: Mariam Riaz Watoo, the sister of Bushra Bibi, has made serious allegations against PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur, accusing him of forcibly detaining her sister during recent protests in Islamabad. In a statement, Watoo claimed that Bushra Bibi was forcibly moved from D-Chowk to an undisclosed location against her will.
Watoo explained that Bushra Bibi did not wish to leave the protest site at D-Chowk, but was “dragged away” and relocated without her consent. She further revealed that after speaking with her sister, her location was changed once again, and Bushra Bibi remains unaware of where she is being held.
“Bushra Bibi’s family has not been allowed to speak with her, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has placed her in an unknown location,” Watoo said. She added that despite repeated attempts, the family has been unable to get in touch with her as her phone has been switched off.
Mariam Riaz Watoo confirmed that the family would pursue legal action regarding Bushra Bibi’s disappearance. “We will take legal steps to address the matter of her forced relocation and the violation of her rights,” she declared.
