Long Live Pakistan

By/Zahid Shakoor Ch.

Clouds of fire are raining at the borders, the sound of bullets echoes in the sky, and the enemy has its eyes on our soil. Today, we once again stand at a historic turning point, where our faith, our determination, and our unity are being tested.

India, which has always been a cunning enemy and opponent of Pakistan’s prosperity, has now shown its true face. In a region where Pakistan has always extended a hand for peace, India has chosen the path of aggression and attacked our land. This is the latest link in a chain of deceit and trickery that has continued for decades.

Modi’s name has become synonymous with terrorism in the world today. The same person who is called the Butcher of Gujarat, whose hands are stained with the blood of thousands of innocent Muslims, is now targeting Pakistan with his aggression. This is the same RSS ideology that has made life miserable for minorities in India, and is now targeting peace in the region.

War is humanity’s greatest tragedy. It not only causes loss of life but is also a precursor to economic and social destruction. Every shell fired into the air costs millions of rupees as well as the price of innocent lives.

Today, India is cowardly targeting civilian populations, dropping bombs on mosques, martyring children and the elderly. It is the height of their cowardice that while Pakistan targeted only military installations, India has trampled upon all principles of humanity.

Today our soldiers stand at the borders, making their chests a shield. Pakistan’s armed forces, counted among the world’s best in military skill, remain steadfast in their resolve. Their morale is high, their courage is at its peak, and their faith is undefeatable.

This is the same force that showed the world the way in the war against terrorism, that achieved success in Operations Zarb-e-Azb and Radd-ul-Fasaad, and that has always considered the country’s safety more important than their own lives. Today, every Pakistani takes pride in their armed forces.

Today the Pakistani people stand with their army like a solid rock. From every street, every neighborhood, every city, one voice rises: “Long Live Pakistan!”

At this time, there is no room for differences among us. Political disagreements, economic issues, and all other matters must be set aside as the entire nation unites for one goal: the defense of the country! Today, every Pakistani must stand as one to thwart the enemy’s plans. National unity is the weapon that will foil every enemy conspiracy.

Pakistan has always acted as a responsible nuclear power. We have never chosen the path of aggression, but have always spoken of peace. Peaceful relations with our neighbors have always held a key position in Pakistan’s foreign policy.

But being peace-loving does not mean weakness. Today, when India has threatened Pakistan’s sovereignty and security, Pakistan has responded fully and with complete determination. It is proof of our responsibility that we ensure the protection of our citizens, and under this same responsibility, Pakistan has given the enemy a befitting response.

It is time for the world to take notice of India’s aggressive actions. A state that disregards international laws, exploits human rights, and consistently poses a threat to regional peace should be boycotted by the international community as a moral responsibility.

From human rights violations in occupied Kashmir to today’s direct attack on Pakistan, India has repeatedly proven that it is an irresponsible state. In such circumstances, the world should rein in India and hold it accountable for its actions.

War frenzy between two nuclear powers could prove disastrous for the region and the entire world. Therefore, the international community should take this situation seriously and take concrete steps to stop India’s aggression.

The defense of Pakistan is our primary duty. Today, we must forget our differences, unite, and stand together against the enemy. Our unity, our determination, and our faith are our true strength.

Long Live Pakistan! May Pakistan Endure Forever! Amen
