Local Gold Price Rises by Rs1,400, Reaches Rs263,500 Per Tola

10-Gram Gold Price: Increases by Rs1,200 to Rs225,908

Pakistan-Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a continued rise for the second consecutive day on Friday, reflecting a boost in global rates.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs1,400, reaching Rs263,500. The price for 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs1,200, settling at Rs225,908, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

This uptick follows a Rs2,000 increase on Thursday, with gold prices closing at Rs262,100.

Internationally, gold prices saw a notable rise on Friday, reaching $2,518 per ounce (with an additional $20 premium), marking a $15 increase for the day, according to APGJSA.

In contrast, silver prices held steady at Rs2,900 per tola.

This recent rise follows a record high for gold prices in Pakistan last month, which peaked at Rs263,700 per tola.
