KP Governor Urges Public to Support Peace and Stability
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Highlights Public Demand for Peace and Development
In a message to the public, the governor said citizens had resolved to reject what the statement described as Fitna-ul-Khawarij and stand alongside security agencies in efforts to combat terrorism.
He called on residents to avoid activities that could lead to disorder, including incitement, lawlessness and rioting. He also warned that legal action would be taken against individuals involved in disrupting public order or taking the law into their own hands.
The governor emphasised that maintaining peace required public cooperation, respect for the law and a collective commitment to stability. He urged citizens to contribute to an environment in which communities could pursue their social and economic aspirations without fear or disruption.
He further highlighted the importance of strengthening friendly relations among Pakistan’s provinces, promoting mutual cooperation and upholding democratic principles.
According to the message, the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa seek sustainable development and economic prosperity, with the benefits of progress reaching ordinary citizens across the province.
The governor’s appeal underscored the importance of public participation, interprovincial harmony and cooperation with relevant institutions in supporting peace and development throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
