Peshawar(Special Correspondent); KP assembly member submits adjournment motion to address law and order situation in, Ahmed Kundi, a member of the Provincial Assembly from the People’s Party and brother of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, has filed an adjournment motion addressing the escalating law and order crisis in the province. Kundi’s motion, submitted to the Assembly Secretariat, cites a disturbing rise in criminal activities and public unrest.

In his motion, Kundi highlighted increasing incidents of target killing, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, and terrorism, which he claims have become daily occurrences. He referenced a recent incident in Swat as a stark example of the growing lawlessness and the widespread fear it has instilled among residents.

Kundi has called for the suspension of normal assembly proceedings to facilitate a thorough discussion on the deteriorating security situation. He emphasized that the violence not only endangers law enforcement officers but also damages public property and tarnishes the country’s reputation.
The motion, filed under Rule 73, seeks approval for a comprehensive debate to address the serious implications of the current crisis and to explore potential solutions for restoring order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
