King Charles US Tour Update Despite Growing Calls For Cancellation

King Charles US visit may happen soon despite tensions and public calls to cancel

There was a lot of talk about whether King Charles III would visit the United States during such tense times. Now, there is a clear answer, and it came from Donald Trump himself.

While speaking about plans for a new ballroom in the White House East Wing, Trump shared that the King is expected to visit soon. He described him as a great person and confirmed that the visit will happen despite political differences.

Reports say King Charles is likely to make a three-day trip to the US in the last week of April.

However, amid the Middle East conflict and Trump’s comment about the UK government, calls were raised from Britons to cancel the tour.

For the unversed, the UK government denied the US’s request to use British bases, leaving Trump angry.

Earlier, Trump said, “I told him, we requested two aircraft carriers which they had and he didn’t really want to do it.

I was not happy with the UK … they should be involved enthusiastically.”

It is important to note that Buckingham Palace has not shared official details related to King Charles’ much-talked-about US tour.
