Karachi Zoo Mourns Death of Last Bengal Tigress
Elderly Tigress Succumbs to Prolonged Health Issues, Leaving the Zoo with Only Lions
Karachi-Karachi Zoo has announced the death of its last Bengal tigress, who passed away due to health complications following a prolonged illness.
The elderly tigress, who had been struggling with health issues for some time, died on Thursday. This leaves the zoo with only two lionesses, a lion, and a pair of lions. The female tiger, the oldest animal at the zoo, had been living alone for a while after the death of other tigers over the years, including an imported pair and a male tiger brought from Lahore.
