ISPR: Five Fitna Al Khwarij Killed in KP Operations
Pakistan Security Forces Strike — Fitna Al Khwarij Killed in Two KPK Ops
KP – (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s military successfully eliminated five terrorists as Fitna Al Khwarij killed during back-to-back intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on May 7 and 8, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed Thursday.
Security forces launched the first operation in Tank District after receiving confirmed reports about militant activity in the area. After an intense exchange of fire, four armed terrorists were neutralised on the spot. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the scene.
In a separate operation carried out in Dera Ismail Khan District, one more militant was eliminated during a firefight. The ISPR confirmed that both groups were part of the Indian-sponsored Fitna-Al-Khwarij network, directly linked to multiple terrorist attacks in the region.
All recovered weapons and ammunition are under investigation. A sanitisation operation is currently underway to clear the area of any remaining militants hiding in the surroundings.
The Pakistan Army reaffirmed its full commitment to the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istehkam. This campaign operates under the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, with a clear mission to permanently eliminate all forms of foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistani soil.
