Iran President Rejects US Pressure and Military Threats

Pezeshkian Says Iran Will Not Bow to External Pressure

TEHRAN: (Web Desk) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran cannot be intimidated by external pressure, stressing that the country’s stance is rooted in faith, sovereignty, and resistance to coercion.

In a series of statements shared on social media, Pezeshkian urged the United States to refrain from issuing military threats against Iran and called for reducing tensions in the region. He also referenced discussions with Iraq’s Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, emphasizing the importance of regional stability and dialogue.

The Iranian president said that Muslims submit only to God and that no external force can compel Iran to surrender. He added that political systems based solely on power often lead to global instability, injustice, and conflict.

Pezeshkian further argued that the current state of global affairs reflects the consequences of prioritizing power over ethics. He contrasted this with Iran’s position, describing it as a nation that seeks to uphold moral responsibility in international relations.

He maintained that Iran represents “ethical and responsible power,” while accusing its adversaries of relying on unchecked and destabilizing force. His remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing geopolitical disputes involving Iran and Western powers.
