Iran to Enhance Missile Range and Speed After Recent Conflict
TEHRAN: (News Desk) – Iran plans to increase the range and speed of its missile arsenal after reviewing lessons learned from its recent conflict, Iranian Army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami-Nia said.
Akrami-Nia said the decision was driven by what he described as the presence of potential adversaries at distances of up to 1,000 kilometres.
He said Iranian missiles used during the recent conflict with the United States had performed effectively, prompting the military to pursue further improvements to their capabilities.

According to the Iranian Army spokesperson, missiles operated by Iran’s ground forces were used against military bases in Kuwait, while naval cruise missiles launched from the sea were used to strike enemy vessels.
Akrami-Nia said future upgrades would focus on increasing missile speed and range while also improving accuracy.
He added that the modernisation programme was already underway as part of broader efforts to strengthen Iran’s defence capabilities.
