TEHRAN: (Web Desk) – Abbas Araqchi has claimed that Donald Trump has sought renewed talks with Iran, adding that Tehran is currently reviewing the request. He suggested that Washington’s outreach reflects its inability to achieve key objectives in the ongoing conflict.
Araqchi made these remarks while discussing recent diplomatic developments, as regional tensions remain high. He indicated that Iran is weighing its options carefully before deciding on the next steps regarding potential negotiations.
Meanwhile, Russia has reiterated its willingness to play a mediating role between the two sides. Following talks in Moscow, President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is prepared to support efforts that serve regional stability, particularly in relation to Iran.
