Interior Minister Launches Initiative to Streamline Immigration at Lahore Airport
New Immigration Officers at Lahore Airport to Enhance Passenger Convenience

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has launched a new initiative to improve passenger convenience at Lahore Airport by appointing immigration officers.
This measure aims to enhance the efficiency of immigration processes at one of Pakistan’s busiest airports. A total of 24 Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officers, who have recently completed their training, have been assigned to various desks throughout the airport. Each officer is stationed at a dedicated desk to ensure travelers receive timely assistance with immigration and related issues.

The FIA officers will be available 24/7 to offer support and guidance to passengers, addressing any concerns they might have.
Sarfaraz Khan, Director of FIA Lahore Zone, highlighted the significance of this initiative, explaining that a dedicated officer will be available to resolve any issues passengers might face. “This initiative is expected to greatly alleviate the challenges faced by travelers at the airport,” he said.
The deployment of these officers reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing services at Lahore Airport, aiming to provide a smoother and more efficient experience for all passengers.
