Indian warfare foiled by national unity, says Air Chief Marshal Sidhu
Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has sent a letter of gratitude to National Assembly (NA) Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, praising his role in fostering national unity against Indian aggression.
The Air Chief Marshal acknowledged in his letter that the Pakistan Air Force deeply appreciates the demonstration of national solidarity shown by the parliamentary leadership.
He especially commended Speaker Ayaz Sadiq for his commendable role in rallying the nation and parliament during a critical time.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu expressed pride in the unified support shown by the members of the National Assembly for the Pakistan Air Force.
He said that the tributes extended by both parliamentary and national leadership following the PAF’s effective response to enemy aggression will be remembered as historic and unforgettable.
He emphasised that the success of the Pakistan Air Force was a result of divine blessing and the strength of national unity, which effectively crushed the enemy’s malicious ambitions.
“With the backing of the nation, the armed forces possess the full capability to tackle any challenge,” he stated. “The Pakistan Air Force is always ready to defend the country’s borders and considers this duty a sacred responsibility.”
In the letter, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu reaffirmed the PAF’s unwavering commitment to supporting national objectives and continuing close cooperation in all possible ways.
It is worth noting that this letter was written in response to a message previously sent by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq. In his letter, the speaker paid rich tribute to Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu for delivering a decisive and bold response to Indian hostility.
He lauded the courage, bravery, skill, and professionalism displayed by the armed forces, especially the Pakistan Air Force.
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq had also expressed Parliament’s unwavering support and solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan in his letter.
