Chief Ministers Send Strong Message of Unity on 77th Independence Day
Pakistan: Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz during her speech at the flag-hoisting ceremony at Huzuri Bagh in Lahore, expressed her heartfelt wishes for the nation, saying, “May Allah Almighty keep Pakistan always joyous and prosperous. We are a pioneering nation, and with Allah’s blessings, Pakistan will remain safe.”
She also took a moment to acknowledge Arshad Nadeem, stating, “I want to pay my respects to Arshad Nadeem. When I saw the flag of Pakistan flying high above all others, it filled me with immense pride.”
Maryam Nawaz further emphasized the potential within the country, remarking, “Our nation is full of talent. If our children are provided with the right environment, their development will be unstoppable. I want to remind all Pakistanis that this country belongs to all of us, including our minorities. There is no division among us; we are all Pakistanis.”
KPK CM Ali Amin Gandapur: In his Independence Day speech, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur congratulated the nation and acknowledged the contributions of the founding chairman. He emphasized that the tax money of the people, earned through their votes, should be utilized for their benefit.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah: He extended his congratulations to the nation on Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, offering his heartfelt wishes to the entire country. He noted that August 14th is a day of immense joy for all Pakistanis, especially for the Muslims of the subcontinent, as it represents a pivotal moment in their history.
In his address, the Chief Minister highlighted the provincial government’s ongoing efforts and announced the launch of major initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of Sindh’s residents. He expressed his pride in being a Pakistani and called for national unity in combating terrorism.
CM Shah urged everyone to commit to eradicating the threat of terrorism and assured that by following the example of the nation’s leaders, Pakistan will continue to achieve new heights on the global stage.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti: stated that true nations celebrate Independence Day with enthusiasm and a strong national spirit. He highlighted that shooting sports have long been a traditional activity among the Baloch, Pashtun, and local tribes, emphasizing the need to revive this sport.

CM Bugti noted that Independence Day celebrations are taking place across Balochistan and warned of certain enemy forces attempting to weaken Pakistan. He expressed concern about groups trying to destabilize the state through propaganda and violence, asserting that such efforts would be thwarted by the combined efforts of security forces and the nation’s commitment to development. He further emphasized that anti-national forces seek to create a divide between the state and its people, which will be resisted.
