Imran Khan decided not to appear before JIT set up to investigate cases against party leaders

Lahore: (Staff Reporter) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTII) Chairman Imran Khan has decided not to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) set up to investigate the cases against the PTI.
According to the source, instead, a lawyers’ team will represent the former prime minister before the JIT which is investigating cases against PTI leaders for rioting and violence against police. PTI Secretary General Asad Umar recorded his statement during the previous meeting of the JIT.
As per details the JIT set up by the caretaker Punjab government has summoned Imran and other leaders at 1 pm on Wednesday. The JIT has summoned Fawad Chaudhry, Hammad Azhar, Ijaz Chaudhry, Dr. Yasmin Rashid and others again.
