Hockey Team reaches Chennai for Asian Champions Trophy

LAHORE  – The national hockey team on Tuesday reached India to participate in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy to be played in Chennai from Aug 3.

The Pakistan hockey team started its journey from the National Hockey Stadium. According to the Pakistan Hockey Federation, the team will travel to the neighbouring country through the Wagah Border. It reached Chennai from Amritsar by road.

Chennai will host the Asian event from 3rd to 12th of this month.

Pakistan are scheduled to play their first match against Malaysia on Thursday while Pakistan will face India on Aug 9
