Government, allies are on same page: Khawar

SACM on Information and Spokesperson Punjab government Hasaan Khawar has said that the Universal Health Card system will be implemented in Punjab by the end of January, 2022. PTI health initiatives are above all political claims and slogans. The incumbent government has ensured justice and equality with all without any political affiliation and had brought reforms in the 70-year-old health system.
These views were expressed by him while addressing a ceremony at Punjab University today. He said that government and allies are still on the same page adding that making elections transparent and uncontroversial is a demand of a nation which has been practically implemented. Hasaan Khawar congratulated the Prime Minister and Speaker National Assembly on the joint session of the parliament and welcome the passing of the bills. He said that today the government agenda won in the joint session of Parliament. He termed the hue and cry and reservations of the opposition meaningless. He said the journey of electoral reforms has been started under PTI leadership. He said that awarding the voting rights to the overseas Pakistanis is a revolutionary step of the present government which should have been taken long before. He said that former governments did not take such steps as they were afraid of the vote bank of the PTI. This initiative had given practical shape towards the ideology of the State of Medina. He said that this legislation will ensure more political stability in the country. He said that if Nawaz Sharif was innocent, he should come back to the country and face their court cases instead of adopting self-exile.
Separately. SACM Hasaan Khawar has felicitated more than 9 million expatriates for getting the right of vote. Hasaan Khawar said today is a historic day in every aspect as PTI government succeed to give the right of vote to overseas Pakistanis despite all the resistance of the opposition. He termed this way a right way to respect the vote. He said EVM will play an important role for making the elections transparent. Today PTI government has fulfilled its promise of electoral reforms, he added.
