Pakistan Gold Prices Rebound After Three Consecutive Daily Declines
ISLAMABAD: (Finance Desk) – Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Wednesday, ending a three-session losing streak as the price of one tola increased by Rs4,300.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of gold rose to Rs441,636 per tola from Rs437,336 recorded on Tuesday. The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs3,686 to Rs378,631.
The latest increase followed three consecutive sessions of declines. Gold prices fell by Rs2,100 on Saturday, September 26, dropped by Rs12,800 on Monday, September 28, and declined by a further Rs800 on Tuesday.
In the international market, gold prices also moved higher, gaining $43 to reach $4,191 per ounce.
Domestic gold prices generally reflect movements in the international market, although local rates may also be affected by exchange-rate fluctuations and other market factors.
