Gilgit Team to Make Debut in KSL, Matches to be Played in Muzaffarabad, Pindi, and Faisalabad
Chairman Masood Khan Announces Selection of Players Based on Merit"
Islamabad-(Mudassar Iqba)l-The Kashmir Supreme League (KSL) is set to launch on September 13 in Islamabad, with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi as the chief guest. KSL Chairman Masood Khan announced that 10 trials will be conducted, including 5 in Azad Kashmir and 1 in Gilgit. The Gilgit team will make its debut in the league, joining other teams from Rawalkot, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli, and Falcon.
The matches will be played in Muzaffarabad, with the remaining matches to be played in Pindi and Faisalabad stadiums. A total of 19 matches will be played, with the opening match in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and the final match in Muzaffarabad.
The selection of players will be based on merit, with Chief Selector Moin Khan Afridi, Salman Butt, and Shehzad Khan overseeing the process. Haji Mohammad Rafiq Pardesi, Chairman of the World Kashmir Forum, expressed his support for KSL and announced his plans to fight the Kashmir issue legally in the International Court of Justice and play a role in the OIC
