Launches Crackdown on Illegal Constructions and Encroachments in Islamabad"

Islamabad-(Mudassar Iqbal)-A meeting was held on Monday under the chairmanship of CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa to discuss various real estate projects in Islamabad aimed at attracting investment from overseas Pakistanis. The meeting was attended by senior officers from the Public-Private Partnership Authority (P3A) and the CDA.

CDA Chairman Randhawa emphasized that overseas Pakistanis will be offered excellent opportunities to invest in various projects in Islamabad’s real estate sector, which will meet international standards and cater to their needs and requirements. He highlighted that efforts are being made to offer encumbrance-free projects and land to ensure mutually beneficial investments for Pakistan and overseas Pakistanis.

The Chairman noted that these projects will contribute to an increase in foreign remittances for Pakistan and the overall development of Islamabad. He also mentioned that P3A will offer technical support for these projects, and the process of hiring advisors and consultants will commence soon.

The initiative is part of the government’s broader effort to attract overseas Pakistanis to invest in Pakistan and encourage their contribution to the country’s development through investment in upcoming projects in Islamabad.

On the orders of Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, a comprehensive operation was launched on Monday to eliminate illegal constructions and encroachments in Sector I-15. The Enforcement Directorate, assisted by the district administration and Islamabad Police, conducted a rigorous operation, demolishing 17 rooms, 6 kitchens, 4 bathrooms, 7 four walls, 3 walls, 3 gates, and 4 cattle sheds using heavy machinery. This action resulted in the retrieval of government land.
