GB Court Orders Re-Polling in Diamer Constituency
Gilgit-Baltistan Court Directs Fresh Polling at Diamer Polling Station
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Supreme Appellate Court of Gilgit-Baltistan has ordered fresh polling at Loshi Thak polling station in the GBA-15 Diamer-I constituency.
The court accepted an appeal filed by a Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl candidate and directed the Election Commission of Pakistan to hold re-polling at the station.
The ruling came a day after the court ordered re-polling at eight polling stations in the GBA-17 Darel constituency on another petition filed by the same party’s candidate.

The dispute began after the ECP decided to issue Form-49 in GBA-17 on the basis of available results. The candidate challenged the decision and sought re-polling at 11 polling stations.
The Election Commission is expected to issue a schedule for fresh polling in line with the court’s directives.
