Foreign Elements and Militants Exposed in Bajaur

Bajaur: Security sources have exposed a deliberate disinformation campaign aimed at creating confusion about the situation in Bajaur, especially regarding the presence of foreign militant elements known as Khawarij.

According to officials, these militants, many of whom are Afghan nationals, are hiding among the local population and are involved in terrorism and criminal activities.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, including the Chief Minister and senior security officials, presented a three-point plan to the tribal elders in the area.

First, the tribal leaders were asked to expel these foreign militants from their areas.

Second, if this was not possible, they were requested to vacate the area for one or two days so that security forces could conduct a targeted operation without endangering civilians.

Third, if neither of the above options could be implemented, civilians were urged to minimize exposure to avoid collateral damage, as the operation against terrorists will proceed under all circumstances.

Security sources made it clear that there will be no talks with the Khawarij or their facilitators unless they fully surrender to the state.

The tribal jirga that was called recently is being described as a necessary step to ensure the safety of civilians before military action.

Officials added that the Khawarij are enemies of both Islam and the State, and no compromise will be made with such elements. They emphasized that only the state holds the authority to conduct any armed operation, and that authority will be exercised as needed to restore peace in the region.
