State Bank announces official bank holidays for Eid, Pakistan Day
Banks to Close for Eid-ul-Fitr and Pakistan Day Holidays
State Bank of Pakistan – (Web Desk) – The State Bank of Pakistan announced on Tuesday that all banks and financial institutions will be closed on March 20 and 21 for Eid-ul-Fitr.
The government has declared these two days as public holidays. During this time, no banking operations will take place anywhere in the country.
In addition, the State Bank said that banks and financial institutions will also remain closed on March 23, 2026, in observance of Pakistan Day.
Which currency notes are likely to be banned by State Bank of Pakistan?
The central bank advised customers to plan their financial transactions accordingly in view of the upcoming holidays.
