FC Balochistan Foils Weapons Smuggling Attempt in Pishin

Security Forces Foil Alleged Arms Smuggling Attempt From Afghanistan

QUETTA: (Staff Reporter) – FC Balochistan and other security personnel have foiled an alleged attempt to smuggle weapons and ammunition from Afghanistan during a joint operation conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, according to a report aired by 24NewsHD TV on Sunday.

Security sources said personnel carried out a raid on a warehouse in Saranan, located in Pishin district, where they recovered a vehicle carrying a substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition.

The seized items reportedly included three rocket-propelled grenade launchers, four light machine guns, one machine gun, hand grenades, rockets and a large quantity of ammunition.

According to security officials, the intelligence-based operation disrupted an alleged plan to transport ammunition from Afghanistan into the area. Authorities said the seizure was part of ongoing efforts to prevent illegal arms movement and counter security threats in Balochistan.

Following the raid, security personnel launched a search operation in the surrounding area to determine whether suspected militant elements were present nearby.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and stability across Balochistan and continuing operations against terrorism.

The operation highlights ongoing security concerns over the alleged cross-border movement of weapons and ammunition. Further details about possible arrests or additional recoveries were not included in the initial report.
