Facebook Plans TikTok-Style Video Feed Transformation Soon

Facebook Introduces TikTok-Like Full-Screen Video Feed Experience for Users

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Facebook, one of the world’s largest social media platforms, is preparing for a major redesign that could significantly change how users interact with the app.

Meta is set to test a new feature called “Reimagine Experience”, which will shift Facebook towards a more video-focused interface similar to TikTok’s popular format.

Under the proposed redesign, users opening the Facebook app will see a full-screen video feed instead of the traditional home page layout. The new experience is aimed at making video content the centre of the platform.

Meta said the update reflects changing user habits, with people increasingly spending more time watching videos online. The company said the goal is to deliver a more engaging experience while helping users discover content from authentic creators.

For users who prefer the existing Facebook layout, Meta will continue offering access to the traditional feed through a separate navigation option.

The video-first experience will initially be tested in selected countries where demand for video content is higher before potentially expanding to more regions.

The move follows the success of TikTok’s full-screen short-video model, which has influenced major social media platforms worldwide. Meta has not yet shared screenshots or a launch date for the redesigned Facebook interface.
