Girl Recovered Hours After Alleged Abduction Outside Polyclinic

ISLAMABAD: (Crime Reporter) – Police have safely recovered an eight-month-old girl who was allegedly abducted outside Polyclinic Hospital in Islamabad, arresting the suspected kidnappers within around two and a half hours.

According to police, the child’s mother had been sleeping with her three daughters under a parking shed outside the hospital. She had brought one of her children to the facility for medical treatment.

When the mother woke up early in the morning, she discovered that her youngest daughter was missing. She immediately alerted the police and raised suspicion over a woman who had reportedly been sleeping nearby with her daughter and son-in-law.

Acting promptly, Aabpara Police detained the woman’s mother-in-law for questioning as part of the investigation.

Police said the suspected kidnapper later learned that the woman had been taken into custody. She subsequently arrived at the police station with the missing child, allowing officers to recover the infant safely.

The girl was reunited with her mother shortly afterwards. The mother expressed her gratitude to Islamabad Police for their swift response and efforts to recover her daughter.
