Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi-Quetta, September 5, 2024: Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for the Department of Women Development, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, met with the leadership of the Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation (KKRF) to discuss significant matters related to women’s empowerment. The meeting was led by the Foundation’s Chief Executive, Zulekha Raisani, and discussions covered various initiatives, including improved facilities for women, opportunities for skill development abroad, and financial literacy programs.
On this occasion, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi emphasized the importance of equipping women with essential skills and financial literacy for their self-reliance and social development. She stated, “Providing women with the necessary skills for employment abroad, as well as financial literacy, is crucial for their self-sufficiency and collective societal progress.”
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Women Development and the Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation was also reviewed. The need for effective coordination between institutions providing relevant services and the Department of Women Development was highlighted to ensure better access to services for the women of Balochistan. Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi noted, “A strong communication system will act as a bridge between women’s needs and the services that will help them become self-reliant and play a strong role in society.”
Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi praised the Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation for its active efforts and dedication to the welfare of women, stressing the importance of joint efforts. She said, “The dedication and hard work of the Kathleen Kamal Raisani Foundation for women are commendable, and together we will continue to develop effective programs that will contribute to the empowerment of women in Balochistan.”
