ECP postponed five cases hearing against Imran Khan

Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) postponed five cases against PTI Chairman Imran Khan scheduled to be heard for Dec 13. The top electoral body has taken the decision due to unavailability of the bench. It said the cases would be heard on Dec 20.

According to the source, the ECP was scheduled to hear cases including the one related to the PTI funding, party chairmanship, notification of Imran Khan’s victory in by-elections and electoral expenditure.

Meanwhile in a statement, the organization said contempt cases against the PTI chief, Fawad Chaudhry and Asad Umar would be heard on Tuesday.
