Washington/Tehran/Islamabad-(Special Correspondent/Mudassar Iqbal/Web Desk)-U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran, saying the country would be “blown off the face of the earth” if it attacks American ships operating in the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

The warning came during an interview with Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst, where Trump discussed ongoing U.S. operations aimed at escorting commercial vessels through the vital maritime route.
According to reports, the United States has launched a mission to guide and protect international shipping passing through the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil transit chokepoint. Trump emphasized that any Iranian attempt to target U.S. naval assets involved in the operation would trigger a severe and decisive response.
The latest remarks come amid rapidly escalating tensions in the region, with both sides increasing military posturing. U.S. forces have reportedly engaged Iranian boats accused of harassing commercial vessels, while Washington continues to bolster its naval presence in the Gulf.
Iran, however, has issued its own warnings, stating that any foreign military presence in the Strait without coordination would be considered a threat and could be targeted. Reports also indicate confrontations between Iranian and U.S. naval forces, further heightening fears of a broader conflict.
The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most critical shipping lanes, through which a significant portion of global oil supplies passes. Any disruption in the area carries major implications for international energy markets and global trade.
Trump’s latest statement marks a sharp escalation in rhetoric, underscoring the fragile security situation in the Gulf and raising concerns about potential military confrontation.
