Quetta-Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized the significance of democracy in achieving sustainable stability and development in Pakistan on the occasion of World Democracy Day.
“Democracy empowers the common man to elect his representatives, ensuring their voices are heard,” CM Bugti stated. “It is the only way to stability and a bright future for Pakistan.”
He praised the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) long history of fighting for democratic stability, citing the sacrifices of party leaders and workers, including martyr Ms. Benazir Bhutto.
“In a democratic system, elected public representatives can serve the people best,” CM Bugti added. “Stability of democracy is our motto.”
He highlighted the coalition government in Balochistan as a perfect blend of democratic process, emphasizing the importance of bringing all political parties together for public service.
On World Democracy Day, CM Bugti paid homage to all martyrs, including Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, who fought for democracy.
