Delegation of National Workshop Balochistan visits Peshawar for official engagements
A 92-member National Workshop Balochistan delegation visits Peshawar, gets security briefing and explores key institutions.
Peshawar – (Web Desk) – A 92-member delegation of the National Workshop Balochistan, comprising men and women from diverse professional backgrounds, visited Peshawar on an important study tour.
During the visit, the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, along with updates on counter-terrorism efforts and border management strategies.
The delegation also held a meeting with the Corps Commander of Peshawar, where matters related to national and regional security were discussed in detail.
On this occasion, the Corps Commander briefed the participants on how security forces are actively and effectively responding to terrorism threats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the visit, the delegation also visited the Governor House Peshawar and the Bala Hissar Fort Museum, while paying tribute to the martyrs by visiting the Martyrs’ Memorial.
KP civil servants require approval before marrying foreign nationals
In their impressions, the participants of the delegation said that the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are not only playing a key role in the defence of the country but are also rendering significant services in the promotion of education, health and sports.
The participants said that the ground realities regarding security and development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appeared different and more positive than their expectations.
