Dania Shah Faces Non-Bailable Arrest Warrants in Aamir Liaquat Video Case

KARACHI: (Court Reporter) – A judicial magistrate court in Karachi’s East district on Monday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Dania Shah in a case involving the circulation of indecent videos of late television personality Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

During the proceedings, the court directed the authorities to arrest Dania Shah and present her before the court at the next hearing. The accused had submitted an application seeking exemption from personal appearance, but the opposing counsel challenged the request. The court subsequently rejected the application.

The court adjourned further proceedings until October 28, 2026.

The case was initiated after the daughter of the late Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain filed a petition against Dania Shah under the Cyber Crime Act over the circulation of the videos.
