Court extends interim bail of Imran Khan & Bushra Bibi until Jan 7
The court decided to defer its ruling on Bushra Bibi’s bail request.
ISLAMABAD: The District Sessions Court of Islamabad has extended the interim bails of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in multiple cases, granting them bail until January 7, 2025.
The court, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka, heard the bail applications in one case concerning Bushra Bibi and six cases involving Imran Khan. Due to the unavailability of senior counsel, who was engaged in a case at Adiala Jail, junior lawyers represented the defendants during the proceedings.
The court decided to defer its ruling on Bushra Bibi’s bail request but agreed to extend the interim bails for both her and Imran Khan until the next hearing scheduled for January 7, 2025.
