COAS Gen Asim Munir Visits CMH Rawalpindi, Lauds Courage of Injured Soldiers and Civilians

RAWALPINDI — Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), paid a special visit to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi today to inquire about the health and recovery of soldiers and civilians injured during Marka-e-Haq / Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.

During his visit, the Army Chief met individually with the wounded, expressing deep appreciation for their bravery and unwavering dedication in the face of aggression. He reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to providing the best medical care, rehabilitation, and long-term welfare for all those affected by the recent hostilities.

“Our civilians’ and soldiers’ valour and sacrifice form the cornerstone of Pakistan’s security. The entire nation stands in resolute solidarity with every member of its Armed Forces,” said Gen Munir.

The COAS emphasized that no external threats or hostile agendas could diminish the resolve of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He praised the nation’s unified and determined response during Marka-e-Haq / Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, calling it a defining moment in Pakistan’s military history.

Gen Munir highlighted the importance of national unity, noting that the support of the Pakistani people was instrumental in ensuring a strong and effective defense against aggression. “This joint stand of the people and the military sends a clear message — Pakistan’s sovereignty and dignity are non-negotiable,” he added.
