China Reaffirms Confidence In Pakistan’s Capital Market Growth
Pakistan, China Discuss Deeper Financial Market Cooperation
Islamabad: (Web Desk) Representatives from China’s leading financial market institutions, including the China Financial Futures Exchange and the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges, met with the chairman of Pakistan’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SECP) to discuss expanding cooperation in capital markets.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation conveyed that strategic investors from China intend to increase their long-term participation in Pakistan’s financial markets.
Officials were also informed that China’s Central Depository Company and Pakistan’s National Clearing Company plan to inject additional investments aimed at raising their shareholding stakes.

The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral investment opportunities, introducing innovative capital market products, and facilitating greater access for Pakistani and Chinese investors to each other’s markets.
The visiting delegates expressed strong confidence in Pakistan’s economic trajectory and highlighted their optimism regarding the future growth and development of the country’s capital markets.
