ChatGPT Introduces GIF Creation With Images 2.6 Model
OpenAI's Latest Update Makes GIF Creation Easier for Everyone
SAN FRANCISCO: (News Desk) – OpenAI has introduced a new feature in ChatGPT that allows users to create animated GIFs using simple text prompts or existing photographs, bringing GIF creation directly into its popular artificial intelligence chatbot.
The feature is part of OpenAI’s latest image-generation model, ChatGPT Images 2.6, which enables users to transform static pictures into animated sequences without relying on separate GIF-making applications.
With the new capability, users can simply upload a photograph and describe the movement or animation they want. ChatGPT then generates a looping GIF based on their instructions.
Users can also create animations entirely from their imagination by describing a scene through written prompts, without uploading an existing image.
The feature offers additional editing options, allowing users to adjust playback speed, modify individual frames and share their completed GIFs.
OpenAI says the new image-generation model also delivers significant improvements in speed and editing capabilities. According to the company, Images 2.6 generates images up to 50 per cent faster than its predecessor while improving consistency and preserving important visual details during editing.
The new model and GIF creation feature are being rolled out globally across ChatGPT and Codex, including web, desktop and mobile platforms.
