Bilawal Confident PPP Will Form GB Government
Government Formation Talks Expected After GB Election Results
Gilgit: (Web Desk) – Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed confidence that the PPP will form the next government in Gilgit-Baltistan following its strong performance in the general elections.
During a telephone conversation with PPP Gilgit-Baltistan President Amjad Advocate, Bilawal congratulated the party leadership on its electoral success and urged efforts to establish a government based on reconciliation, consultation and broad political consensus.
He emphasized the importance of including other political parties and independent candidates in the governing framework to ensure stability and effective representation.

The PPP chairman also directed Amjad Advocate to engage with all successful candidates and initiate consultations aimed at forming a coalition government in the region.
According to election results, the PPP emerged as the largest party by securing victory in 10 constituencies. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz followed with six seats, while independent candidates, including two backed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, won seven constituencies.
Meanwhile, Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen managed to secure one seat in the elections.
With no single party holding an overwhelming majority, political consultations and alliance-building are expected to play a key role in the formation of the next government in Gilgit-Baltistan.
