Babar Ali Shares Honest Perspective on Ageing Gracefully

KARACHI: (Showbiz Desk)- Veteran Pakistani actor Babar Ali has won praise from fans after sharing his candid views on ageing, saying accepting the natural passage of time is more important than trying to conceal it.

During his recent appearance on “Mazaak Raat,” the seasoned actor spoke openly about growing older and explained why he has never felt uncomfortable acknowledging his age.

Babar said he accepted the reality of ageing early in life, noting that nothing in this world lasts forever and that growing older is a natural part of life.

The actor also touched on the subject of maintaining a youthful appearance in the entertainment industry. With his trademark humour, he joked that while he occasionally uses hair colour, some of his contemporaries use considerably more, prompting laughter from the studio audience.

Explaining his own approach, Babar said he only colours his hair when a particular role requires it. Otherwise, he has no problem allowing his hair to turn naturally white.

He added that at his current age, it would not be realistic for him to portray the conventional romantic hero opposite much younger actresses, stressing that actors should accept ageing rather than constantly attempt to fight it.

Babar further emphasised that growing older should be approached with confidence and dignity, rather than viewed as something that must be hidden.
