Islamabad/Muzaffarabad-A high-level delegation of Chinese investors, led by Bilal Janjua, Vice President of China Pakistan Commerce Alliance International, met with the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar Haq, at Jammu and Kashmir House. The meeting aimed to explore investment opportunities in Azad Kashmir.
PM Chaudhry Anwar Haq welcomed the delegation and highlighted the region’s vast potential for investment in hydel power, tourism, public health, technical education, and road infrastructure development. He assured the delegation that the AJK government would provide all necessary facilities to foreign investors.
Bilal Janjua expressed the interest of Chinese investors in Azad Kashmir, citing its strategic location and natural resources. He praised the AJK government’s efforts to create a conducive business environment.
The meeting was also attended by AJK Government Minister Ms. Imtiaz Naseem, Health Minister Nisar Ansar Abdali, and Chief Secretary Dawood Muhammad Barich.
PM Chaudhry Anwar Haq emphasized that Azad Kashmir is a peaceful region, making it an ideal destination for investment. He offered to collaborate with Chinese investors under public-private partnerships in various sectors, including hydel power and tourism.
